I know you are all thinking, "Not with the Lilly Pillies, again," but with a tree that keeps on giving, I needed to find another use for the fruit.
I followed this recipe.
It was really easy and tastes wonderful.
I will certainly be making it again.
As it is a cordial not a juice, we diluted it with some soda water for a bit of fizz.
Take care
That looks so delicious. What a brilliant colour.
ReplyDeleteJude, it tastes great too. It is not as sweet as I thought it would be. Yum. ; )
ReplyDeleteLilly pillies sound fascinating, even though I have no idea what they are! We don't get them over here. We make lots of elderflower cordial, which is delicious, too.
ReplyDeletePomona x
Pomona, lilly pillies are a strange little fruit. They aren't something that you would eat on its own but turn it into something.
ReplyDeleteI love what Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall does with elderflower. They look so lovely.
Ooh, looks rather nice! I can imagine how good it was with a bit of sparkle too!
ReplyDeleteDixiebelle, mmmm. Delicious. The kiddies love it too.
