Long Awaited Winter Rains Are On My Mind

It feels as though our dry spell is hopefully coming to an end. I know that we need a lot more rain to be out of trouble with regard to the dam situation, but the rain we have had over the last few days is making my garden look so much greener that it has for quite a while. Everything looks really healthy.


These winter rains have definitely been on my mind.

    It has threatened rain all day, but so far very little has fallen. We're in a bit of a dry spell at the moment too!

    It seems to have passed now so maybe that is it for a while. Doesn't look like much more coming soon. : (

    Dixiebelle, thanks. I must say I love the way the green looks. So yummy. I always though Canberra would be quite wet. Just cold?
