Bread Bag Giveaway

The cooler weather and sick kiddoes meant a very homey Sunday. While the patients were in sit-under-a-blanket-on-the-lounge-and-watch-a-DVD mode, I thought I would get a little sewing done.

I have made another bread bag and, with Plastic Free July only a week away, I thought I would give this one away.

All you need to do is leave a comment on the post telling me one way that you could reduce plastic in your home. A winner will be chosen by random on Friday morning Western Australia time. I will happily send this anywhere in the world.

(The winner must promise not to look too carefully at sewing. Some seams might be more even than others)

Take care

  1. May I enter? I'd use that lovely bag for my home baked bread instead of reusing old plastic bread bags.

  2. Love the little bike on the bag.

The one thing I could do to reduce plastic in our home is yell at Daddy Eco more each time he brings home yet another plastic bag from the shops ;-)

  3. Hi BM I am doing plastic free July too and have organised with my butcher to take in my own containers. No doubt I will keep doing it in the future.

  4. I think that I need to make some more sandwich wraps for the kids for school lunches. It cuts the use of glad wrap dramatically!

  5. I could be more organised and reduce the amount of plastic in our home - like remembering to take bags to the shops, spending time to sew bags for vegies, and using sandwich wraps for lunches.

  6. Gorgeous bag, I love the print! I've been looking at making fabric sandwich and snack bags to reduce the amount of ziploc bags I go through. I'm also trying to remember to freeze in decor containers rather than ziploc bags...I use waaaay too many!

  7. I do love your bread bags. I have to remember to pack the pyrex containers before I rock up at the butcher each week.
