We wandered today for the last time through the stalls of
Türkischer Markt am Maybachufer. This has become a bit of a Tuesday and Friday ritual with us heading down there to grab some lunch. We have taken visitors there and they have all loved the experience.

It looks like a wonderful place to spend an afternoon!
ReplyDeleteFig Jam, interesting and delicious.
ReplyDeleteBreathe it all in dear lady. I'm sure you will be back. That 6 months seems to have flown by (for me!) I'll bet you and your family will have many long wonderful conversations when you get back home about all the fantastic things you did.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those last few days.
xx
WaaaaaaaaHHHHHhhhhh! You will really miss those markets. I wish we had stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteCHFG, it is such a wonderful city. The time has flown for us all too. Each of us has had an amazing time and learnt a great deal from the experience. I can't believe how much we managed to do in six months.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely wishes. x
J, I know! (sniff, sniff) x
Thanks for popping by my blog. I LOVE Berlin and try to go there as often as I can. It's a lovely city full of markets, great food, good art and life!
ReplyDeleteIf you are interested in any of the restraunts I reviewed or my other thoughts on the city, please check out my Berlin series. You can view it here: http://thanksforthefood.blogspot.com/search/label/Berlin
Oh, Whitney, I wish I had found your blog before we left. I stumble across it 4 days before we headed home. It would have been a great resource for the last 5 months. I'll certainly keep reading though.
